Dancing in the rain, water, love & hate and ha-ha

I love quotes! I could read them all day long. Most are short. I like that. Short and sweet. My mind wanders so much that something that gets to the point, is good for me. I came across this beautiful quote this morning.

Isn't that what life's about, learning how to stay afloat through the bad times and not dwell in them. Something I have definitely had to learn.

It is also a book...I will have to check into that, goodness I work in a library! LOL

Back to my opinion on quotes...I also like the fact that they can tell a lot about a person. I like quotes by Mother Teresa. I don't know a whole lot about her but her quotes have taught me a lot. I think that this journey on this big blue planet of ours is to learn. To learn how to love one another.

Love

Love...yesterday at work, as my mind was wandering between checking out books to students and laminating projects to go up on bulletin boards, I thought of something that struck a cord with me. Let me start at the beginning, a friend of mine once told me that all the water on our planet is basically the same water that was here a kubillion years ago. OK, that makes since and I guess I should take her word, she is a Naturalist and has her Master's in Nature-something-something. Now if all the water in the world has been here for that long and is just recycled over and over, does love and hate work the same way. I know I am weird. But I'm going to discuss this anyway...did ya think I wouldn't, I wouldn't have started babbling on about it.

Anyway...is there as much love and hate in the world as there was a kubillion years ago? I know it is a feeling but does love and hate truly grow or dissolve. Or does it just embrace or infest our lives. I'm sure there is an answer. Help me please. I won't lose sleep over this one though. lol

Laughter

Laughter...don't you love to hear "some" laughs? I giggle at laughter. I can't help it, my mother is at fault. She loves to laugh too and I think it has taken over our breathing mechanisms. We breathe, we laugh.(inhale-ha ha-exhale). I don't think I have a signature laugh, or do I. My laugh is sporadic. I think it's ALL over the place. At least that's what I hear in my head. Do you hear it too? he he
